How to Verify Your Kimlik Validity (Simple Steps)

All it takes is following these steps on the official website of the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs:

1. Access the Inquiry Page: Open the Foreigner ID Number inquiry page on the official population directorate website.

2. Enter the Data Accurately: Fill in the required fields with the cardholder's information: First Name, Last Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, and Gender.

3. Click the Verification Button: Click the "Doğrula" (Verify) box at the bottom.

How to Understand the Result?

• If the Card is Valid: The site will inform you of the Kimlik number (starting with 99) and its details, meaning your record is active, and you remain under temporary protection.

• If the Card is Canceled or Forged: A message like "Kayıt Bulunamadı" (Record Not Found) will appear, meaning the card is invalid and may have been canceled or forged.
